Well….it’s been a minute since I last posted. Let’s call it summer laziness or maybe summer laziness, I think it is both haha! A friend texted me the other day to ask if I was ok since my blog has been inactive for so long! Sooooo, I will try to catch up a bit by highlighting our summer.
I started this old blog in 2012 and have never gone all summer without posting. I call it old age!

I was able to visit my Mom and step father in Knoxville while John David played in a water polo tournament.

John David visited friends in Orlando. They are MEN now!!!

Hank, Carly, John David and I were able to take a trip of a lifetime to Israel. Amazing does not even describe this trip well. As soon as the kids go back to school I will post each day in full:).

Madeline went to her first overnight camp. She liked it but did not love it. I am so proud of her for trying it though!!

We traveled back from Israel haha! Carly can sleep anywhere!!

I kept a big secret the ENTIRE time we were in Israel. The evening we arrived home all the kids came over to celebrate Father’s day a bit late. Hank read his card…with tears in his eyes…

Announcing that we will be GRANDPARENTS!!!! We are so excited!
Baby Scholes is due February 1st.

I believe John David is yelling that he is now an uncle:)
In my jetlagged state I took pictures instead of videoing…geez!!!

Janie went to cheer camp and LOVED it!
She cannot wait to be able to cheer for her school in 5th grade.

We celebrated Hank’s birthday…he is wearing his gift haha!

We took a trip to the beach. I am lacking all kinds of pictures of our trip…”loser photographer mom” award goes to me!

Not one pic of the rest of the family!! I have to admit it was a weird trip in that not all of us could be there but still…I’ll do better next year!!

Janie swam her last season of swim team. She did not love it this year but went out with a bang:)

John David had Senior pictures taken….NOOOOOOOOOO! He is ready and excited so we are too!!

Wrapping up our summer, the senior class t shirts are ready for the fun to begin tomorrow evening. John David’s class has a Luau party to kick off this special year.
Apparently I will have lots to talk about over the coming months…I’m shaking the lazy off!
