We have settled quickly into the back to school routine around here. Our most pressing issue is waiting for Halle Olivia to make her entrance #icantwaitanylonger

She has not let us see her entire face yet. Look at her precious little nose 🙂
Three more weeks until we meet little Miss Halle Olivia…or sooner!
In the meantime, we are up to the usual…house repairs, school work etc.

We had our upstairs carpets replaced with hardwoods so I have been cleaning and giving away all the things. Of course that led to cleaning every closet and drawer in this house. It feels so good!

Madeline and Janie’s rooms are starting to look so grown up…just in time to have baby toys around the house again haha! Thankfully, I won’t have to worry about all the little game pieces when Halle begins to crawl. 🙂

I ran across some old pictures while cleaning out the kitchen drawers…8th grade Gardner, sneer and all haha!

And this gem of Gardner and Jeff…this was taken exactly 20 years ago!

Baby John David! Where has the time gone, all these kids growing up?!

Two doodles in one chair. They both know Goldbug claims this chair every day…Evie thought she got away with it but no, Goldbug climbed up anyway. 🙂

This makes me laugh out loud! Hank has been taunting Janie about her squish mallows (she has like 100). He tells her how much he loves them and wants just one, calling them squash mellows or squish puffs just to annoy her. He will steal them from her to see if she notices. We texted her a few pics from bed that night for her to see in the morning. Obviously, we think we are so funny. It’s the little things that keep us entertained in our old age parenting. 🙂
Next up young grandparenting!! Well, maybe not young but not old in comparison to being 56 with an elementary child ha!
