Whelp….Covid 19 has kicked our butts in so many areas of our lives. I pretty much dropped all my plans for celebrating and chronicling John David’s Senior year. But I can’t allow dumb Corona to ruin all my plans!
So, here I am way late catching up on the fun things John David DID get to do.
First off we had a big ole graduation party with a few of his friends…outside of course, socially distanced (somewhat) and no food was served. Instead we had a shave ice truck come to the party. It was so fun and rebellious at the same time haha!

We had the party with four other boys, three going to University of Tennessee, one to University of Memphis, and one to Texas A&M. We loved our backdrop for pictures until later in the day it sounded like gun shots every 10 minutes. Who knew heat makes balloons pop so easily?? 🤣

We set up tailgate style, with individual snacks and drinks matching the school colors.

Janie being super Janie with a “look” and loving her orange Fanta.

Now, this was epic as Janie would say. These boys are so much fun!

And this is how they stayed until late in the evening.
Shortly after our party in June the Covid numbers were on the rise. How thankful do you think we are that we went for it….very. It was a perfectly special day celebrating these boys!
