and no it is not pearls again……but CHICKENS. Yes, I know we all ask ourselves why???? Hank has many reasons for wanting to raise chickens but none of us understand so we just go with it. I call these episodes tangents in a life with Hank:)
We are on another batch of baby chicks since a fox has decided he likes them, so sad. Yes….Hank is on the hunt for Mr. Fox 24 hours a day.
At this point we have 10 chicks, which means about…. a lot of eggs every week. The answer is no…..I will not be gathering eggs…….I hope!!
Look how brave she is picking up a baby chick!
Oh, I am so jealous! Would love to be able to raise chickens. Although I'd probably get really lazy and they'd all die. The cat was hard enough to take care of. But fresh out of your backyard eggs? Yum!
Good grief, I have to meet your husband one day!!! He cracks me up!!! And, you are hysterical Paige.. Why do I have a feeling the Easter egg hunt will be fresh eggs that you have gathered in your apron!!!! 🙂
Look at sweet Janie holding her baby chick!!
Hugs,
Diana
